Smoke aspirating system
Aspirating smoke detector ASD 535 consists of one or two independent aspiration pipes with one or several suction inlets as well as a metering box. The air of the rooms to be monitored is aspirated and accurately analyzed in the metering box of the scattered light detector. If the detector samples smoke particles which exceed the defined threshold value, it will immediately trigger an alarm. This enables the fire brigade to fight the fire before it breaks out fully.

Better performance, more precision, more economy

The ASD 535 is a modern version of a universal and high-performance aspirating smoke detector. This innoative detector makes it possible to monitor even very large rooms. It also opens up whole new dimensions in terms of detection precision. This is achieved by the new HD technology (high-dynamic) of the smoke sensor. The alarm sensitivity can be adjusted precisely to individual room conditions and risk potentials. With its auto-learning function, the system is perfectly adapting to ambient conditions during commissioning. Contaminations, e.g. by dust, are efficiently filtered out, which practically excludes deceptive alarms.

The highest degree of sensitivity, quiet operation, invisible installation – thanks to these properties the ASD 535 is perfectly suited for a large range of applications:

– Room monitoring: High rise storerooms and distribution hubs, archive rooms, cavity ceilings and double floors, large halls, museums, galleries, theatres, cinemas, locations of cultural importance, monuments, airports, IT and data centres, telecommunications centres, laboratories and research centres, electronic measuring rooms, transformer rooms, clean rooms and sterile rooms etc.

– Building monitoring: Telecommunications facilities, high and low voltage distribution cases, display cabinets, EDP systems, wiring boxes, CNC control systems etc.

– Non-visible uses: Protection of cultural assets, prison cells, aesthetically challenging architecture etc.
